It's been four months since the first batch of Break Point episodes dropped on Netflix – and as we head towards the most exciting part of the tennis season there's good news for fans regarding the next instalment of the docuseries.

The series will return for the second half of its debut season next month, sandwiched in between the end of the French Open and the beginning of Wimbledon.

Nick Kyrgios, Iga Swiatek, and Taylor Fritz are among the big names to feature prominently in the five new episodes, while fans can also look forward to appearances from Felix Auger-Aliassime, Matteo Berrettini, and Stefanos Tsitsipas and interviews with Andy Roddick, Maria Sharapova, and current men's number 1 Carlos Alcaraz.

The series will once again shine a spotlight on the behind-the-scenes antics of the ATP and WTA tours, with Netflix promising that viewers can expect everything from career-threatening injuries and emotional heartbreak to triumphant victories and personal moments off the court.

Break Point season 1 release date

The second batch of episodes in Break Point's first season will be released on Wednesday 21st June 2023, more than five months after the first episodes arrived on Friday 13th January 2023.

The official release time has not been confirmed, but UK fans could be expected to wait until the afternoon if episodes are released in the morning in US time.

Tennis comes under the microscope in Break Point with some of the best tennis players to be followed throughout the 2022 season.

The official synopsis states: "As some of tennis’ legends reach the twilight of their careers, this is the chance for a new generation to claim the spotlight. Break Point gets up close and personal with these players over a year competing across the globe in the ATP and WTA tours. From career-threatening injuries and emotional heartbreak, to triumphant victories and personal moments off the court, viewers will get a behind the scenes look at the pressure-tested lives of some of the best tennis players in the world."

The docuseries follows some of Netflix's popular sporting series, including F1:DTS and Last Dance.

How many episodes in Break Point season 1?

Break Point season 1 consists of 10 episodes, broken down into two halves of five episodes.

Five episodes were released in January 2023 with five more to come in June 2023.
